Grade 1s began "choosing" in the open area with other primary classes this week. During this time, they are able to explore stations related to current themes. Things like, art, reading, writing, social studies, sciences, math, building, games, are all part of the fun! They must try a new station each time and once we have rotated through each station, they are changed up to accommodate new themes.
This is an excellent time for them to connect with their peers, learn through play, and practice their skills.
